In yesteryear, this kind of excitement could only be stirred up by the automotive manufactures. Men and women across America could not wait to see what was waiting on the show room floor. Now we have the iPhone.
Steve Jobs and the Apple marketing groups have, in some mysterious way, tapped into our desires and made a huge profit off of it! To be sure, the Apple iPhone, in my humble opinion, is the best smart phone out there. The phone has all the bells and whistles you could want and the reliability and speed that a person needs (and more!). Simply put, it just works!
On the educational side, smart phones like the iPhone can aid teachers and students alike if used properly. Like any tool, it is most efficient when used in the way it was designed. Mobile devices can take the classroom and task of learning onto another level. I think it is very important to implement mobile devices into the classroom in order to allow students to use these tools to their maximum potential. These devices are here to stay, so educators might as well use 'em!!
Any way, this was a short reflection and I wanted to take the time to recognize the iPhone launch...it is the latest buzz!
